Well, it’s been a week since my computer fizzled and died a sad, sputtering death. We’ve been working to get it up and running, but we’ve had to replace several components. Luckily, nothing was lost, data-wise, but it’s certainly been a PITA. Sigh…. I haven’t been able to access my email accounts since last Saturday. I can only imagine the backlog of mail that awaits. I’ve been stealing time on various computers when I get a chance, approving members and posts on the Unschooling Resources group, approving friend requests on the LFLF MySpace page, etc., but I’m wringing my hands and tearing out my hair thinking of all the things I should be doing right now. Instead, I’ve been spending far too much time running back and forth between electronics stores with my absolutely amazing and wonderfully helpful brother, trying to find a motherboard/processor and RAM combo that are compatible. Strangely, this is much more difficult than it sounds.
Anyway, I’m hoping to be back online tomorrow - fingers crossed….
